Approach

Brief and build.

A mountain residential community for developer Bruno Martucci in the Andean steppe outside San Martín de los Andes. A hillside of individual houses set into native vegetation with the Andes as backdrop. Delivered as an aerial master-plan composition plus ground-level frames for individual units.

"Patagonian architecture has to hold itself against a landscape that's the real protagonist."

Every frame had to carry the Andes as the architectural backdrop without being upstaged by them. Camera placement pulled low to preserve the mountain silhouette; houses rendered with enough weight to hold the foreground without dominating. The master plan reads as a community that has been placed in the landscape, not imposed on it.
